The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 277 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, as of July 24.
This brings the total number of cases up to 49,375.
The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.
Of the 277, five are the cases detected in the community. Of these, two are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents. Three of them are Work Pass holders.
There are also two new imported cases who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving in Singapore.
Further updates will be shared by MOH in the evening.
