188 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore on July 2, 8 are S'porean/PR

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 188 new Covid-19 cases as of July 2, 12pm.

The vast majority of these cases are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

There are 10 cases in the community, of whom eight are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents, and two are Work Pass holders.

In addition, there is an imported case, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Currently, there are a total of 44,310 confirmed cases.
