257 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 8 are cases in the community

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 257 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of July 19, 12pm.

This brings the total number of cases up to 47,912.

The vast majority are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

Eight of the new cases are cases in the community. Of these, two are Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents while six are Work Pass holders.

In addition, there are five new imported cases who had been on Stay-Home Notice upon arriving in Singapore.
