Covid-19: 196 more cases discharged, no patients in ICU

161 cases remain in hospitals.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed an additional 347 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore, as of 12pm, July 14.

This brings the total number of cases to 46,629.

Two imported cases

The vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

There are seven cases in the community, including one Singaporean or PR, and six Work Pass holders.

There are also two imported cases who have been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

161 remain in hospitals.

196 more cases of Covid-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.

In all, 42,737 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There are currently 161 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital, most of whom are stable or improving.

There is no cases in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

3,704 cases who have mild symptoms or who are clinically well but still test positive for Covid-19 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.

Case 17168, a 62-year-old male Singapore Citizen, has passed away from complications due to Covid-19 infection on July 14.

27 have passed away from complications due to Covid-19 infection.
