If you were ever disappointed by tiny and dainty macarons, perhaps this FatFat-carons are right up your alley.

As its name suggests, these desserts — purportedly originating from Korea — are souped up versions of their dainty French counterparts. They are produced by local dessert shop Nanatang.

The range of flavours is quite wonderfully imaginative, including Orh Nee (Asian yam dessert), Milo Dinosaur, Durian Mochi, and, depending on your tolerance for weird combinations, ham and cheese.

Here's a full list of the flavours they offer: Strawberry Matcha Duo, Lychee Rose, Durian Mochi, Over The Rainbow Vanilla Cheese, Orh Nee, Classic Chocolate Rocher, Ham and Cheese, Passionfruit Chocolate Coconut, Gluten-Free Mint Chcocolate, and Milo Dinosaur.

This batch of 10 flavours were introduced in July 2020.

Nanatang also has a range of slightly smaller macarons called Fatcarons with more conventional flavours like Chocolate, Speculoos, Salted Caramel, Earl Grey, Citron, Vanilla, Cream Cheese, Matcha, Pistachio, and Strawberry.

The more important question is: Are these FatFat-carons or the Fatcarons any good? Well, looking at the reviews that customers left on Nanatang's Facebook page, it appears that the creative desserts by the bakehouse are very well-received.

If you're interested in getting your hands on these FatFat-carons, you can buy them in packs of four (S$30), six (S$42), or eight (S$52).

You can get a Fatcarons in packs of four (S$12), eight (S$23), and 10 (S$28).

Admittedly the price is a bit steep but you are probably are getting more bang for your buck with each FatFat-caron.
