To celebrate Singapore's 55th National Day, OK Chicken Rice is launching a celebratory promotion by treating seniors to their signature chicken rice at S$0.55 per plate.

Those aged above 50 are eligible for the promotion.

For all other youthful customers, there is a 55 per cent discount for everything on the menu.

There's a small catch though: Customers must be dressed in red and white, the colours of the national flag.

The promotion is available all day at their two outlets in Ang Mo Kio and Boon Keng, from 9am to 9pm.

Last year, the chicken rice stall also launched a similar promotion, offering seniors plates of chicken rice at S$0.54 on Singapore's 54th birthday.

Established in 2018, they have been generous for a relatively new business, having even given out 1,000 plates of chicken rice to the public previously on Labour Day 2018:

Earlier this year, they also launched a campaign to distribute chicken rice to frontline healthcare workers in hospitals battling Covid-19.

They are also halal-certified, according to their Facebook page.
