Throughout the month of August, Cathay Cineplexes will be having a one-for-one offer on its weekend movie tickets.

The price of a weekend movie ticket ranges from S$13 to S$14.50.

One-for-one movie tickets

This offer is only valid if the tickets are paid for at the box office counters with a PAssion POSB Debit Card.

The promotion is not valid for online, kiosk, mobile and corporate bookings.

August weekends only

It is also limited to the first 800 redemptions for each weekend.

Safe distancing measures

Some safe distancing measures have also been implemented since the reopening of cinemas.

This includes:

• Face masks are to be worn at all times, except during consumption of snacks and beverages.
• Temperature screening.
• Checking in and out via SafeEntry.
• Safe distancing measures in the lobby.
• Cinema halls with queue markers and alternate seating arrangements.
• Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch point areas such as counters, touch screens, and restrooms.
