Two of the PAP's 4G leaders have been promoted to the position of full Cabinet Ministers.

They are Edwin Tong and Maliki Osman.

Here are the posts that they will be holding:

Edwin Tong

Previous position:  Senior Minister of State for Law and Health

New position: Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law

Maliki Osman

Previous position: Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs, Mayor of South East District.

New position: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Other promotions

Zaqy Mohamad

Previous position: Minister of State for Manpower and National Development.

New position: Senior Minister of State for Manpower and Defence.

Low Yen Ling

Previous position: Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development, Mayor of Southwest District.

New position: Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, and Trade and Industry, still Mayor of Southwest District.

Sun Xueling:

Previous position: Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Home Affairs and National Development.

New position: Minister of State for Education and Social and Family Development.

Faishal Ibrahim:

Previous position: Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education and Social and Family Development.

New position: Minister of State for Home Affairs and National Development.
