A new Covid-19 cluster has been discovered at Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub.
One of the newly confirmed cases (Case 49440) on July 24 is linked to three previous cases to form a new cluster at Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub (15 Petir Road).
The case in question is a Malaysian who went to work at Ulu Pandan Bus Depot and Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub.
He was detected as part of MOH's proactive case finding of individuals working at the newly emergent workplace cluster.
The serological test results for Case 49440 came back positive, which indicate likely past infection.
The transport hub was opened in 2017 as Singapore's ninth integrated transport hub and consists of an air-conditioned bus exchange along with the Bukit Panjang MRT and LRT stations, according to The Straits Times.
