Six three-week-old puppies were recently rescued by Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) with the help of a kind feeder.

The six puppies are doing well, other than having some lice and ticks, and will be put up for adoption in a few weeks' time as they are still young now.

They will be microchipped and vaccinated.

The rescue was carried out by the SOSD Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM) team.

Details about the six puppies were put up on Facebook on July 24:

According to the post, the puppies' mother managed to evade capture and had got away.

Attempts will be made to bring the mother in, the post said.

At the moment, the six puppies are being cared for by the vets and nurses at The Joyous Vet.

The six puppies, five boys and one girl, have been named Balou, Bello, Bosco, Bond, Bruce and Bella by volunteers.

In the meantime, members of the public can contribute money to the SOSD to defray the cost of food and health checks.
