Local breakfast chain Ya Kun is going places.
Shinjuku in Tokyo, Japan, to be exact.
The new outlet was spotted by Twitter user @nemumingjptw, who even uploaded parts of the menu in his Tweet:

Here are some mock-ups of the store:
According to their site, the Tokyo outlet sells coffee and tea from ¥310 (S$4), as well as a variety of breakfast toasts and Singaporean mains.
Buying a toast a la carte will cost you S$5.60, while set meals with soft-boiled eggs and a drink are about S$11.20.
Mains are range from S$14.37 to S$15.68 for dishes like mee siam and nasi lemak.
The menu posters indicate significantly lower prices, though:
Some Japanese customers have already dropped by the outlet:

What is kaya toast?
On Ya Kun's Japanese site, the F&B chain also explains what exactly kaya toast is to Singapore:
"Do you know what Kaya Toast is?
Kaya Toast is a soul food in Singapore!! Made from sugar, egg, coconut milk and pandan leaf (herb) Sandwich the kaya jam and butter. It ’s local to eat hot spring eggs with toast this is a classic way to eat."
And also labelled the different kinds of local coffee:
This, however, is not Ya Kun's first foray into Japan.
It had another outlet about one decade ago, which subsequently closed down.
Other overseas branches include Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.Address:
