Get ready to put this on your holiday planner: The fifth Universal Studios theme park is set to open in Beijing in 2021.

Universal Beijing Resort (UBR) is expected to be the largest Universal Studios theme park in the world.

The theme park is set to open "on time and on budget", despite the Covid-19 outbreak this year.

First to have Kung Fu Panda Land

UBR will feature seven "fully immersive" lands, such as:

• Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness

• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

• Minion Land

• WaterWorld

• Jurassic World Isla Nublar

• Transformers: Metrobase

• Hollywood

UBR is set to be the first Universal Studios theme park to have an area dedicated to the movie "Kung Fu Panda".

It will also be the second in Asia to have The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, after Universal Studios Japan.

Universal CityWalk Beijing

The resort's entertainment centre, Universal CityWalk Beijing (CityWalk), will also open in 2021.

The CityWalk will offer high-quality dining, shopping, and entertainment businesses, similar to the shopping streets in Singapore's Resorts World Sentosa.
