More Singaporeans will be able to resume work at their offices from June 2 as the country embarks on the first day of post-Circuit Breaker period to go into phase 1.

Gorgeous sunrise

As the first day of phase 1 rolled around, plenty of people noticed the eye-catching sunrise this morning:

The orange colours disappeared as the sun rose, but no less pretty:

Due to cleaner air

The stunning orange hues in the skies are not new to the usual early birds.

The striking colours are likely due to the cleaner air quality as a result of 56 days of Circuit Breaker.

Pollutants in the air tend to subdue the colours.

For those who don't have to wake up that early or simply cannot do so, you can still catch an equally gorgeous view at sunset.

While it lasts.
