June 9 was the day when Singaporean Mandopop singer Stefanie Sun launched her first album back in 2000.

That makes today the 20th anniversary of her music career.

The 41-year-old Sun is now a mum of two and has not been appearing on screen as often.

However, at this 20th year milestone, Sun promised fans a comeback and a concert earlier this year.

20th anniversary on June 9

While plans had been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Sun clearly still has fans in mind as she posted three posts on Facebook in the afternoon.

Sun first asked fans, "20 years already, what should I do?".

The second post that quickly followed after relayed her appreciation for her fans:

"Companionship is bliss."

Her final post came an hour later as she said that she felt very loved today.

She also thanked fans for the memories in the past two decades:

"What I've achieved is all thanks to you guys."

Surprise Facebook Live session

Many fans requested for a live concert in the comment section in the afternoon.

Much to their surprise, Sun went live on Facebook in the evening at around 8pm where she answered some of the questions and acceded to some song requests.

The Facebook live is still ongoing and you can tune in to join Sun now:
