The Covid-19 pandemic has ruined businesses, especially those in the retail and F&B industry.

In the past two months, more than 500 F&B eateries have closed down, among many others struggling to stay afloat.

On June 4 evening, Starker Singapore put up a farewell note to its followers on Facebook.

The post announced that Starker Singapore will cease operations of all outlets till further notice.

It added that the decision was not an easy one and "it's goodbye, for now".

According to Danielfooddiary, a creditor meeting will be held on June 10 via a video call for "Starker Brewery Pte Ltd" and "Starker F&B Pte Litd".

The meeting will estimate the creditors' claims, appoint a liquidator and a committee of inspection.

Due to the circuit breaker rules, the group has closed all its outlets since late-April.

Starker Singapore is among the list of 40 restaurants that were rumoured to be closing down.
