From June 7 to 20, 2020, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, Senior Ministers Teo Chee Hean and Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister Chan Chun Sing and Minister Lawrence Wong will deliver a series of national broadcasts.
These broadcasts will explain what a post-Covid-19 future looks like for Singapore, and lay out plans to see us through the pandemic and emerge stronger.
This includes:
- What Singaporeans must do to live with Covid-19 for the long haul, so we can go about our daily lives safely;
- How we can maintain our relevance on the world stage as the geopolitical situation changes;
- How to keep our economy competitive so that businesses can prosper and create good jobs for Singaporeans;
- How to create promising opportunities for all Singaporeans to succeed, and care for the more vulnerable among us; and
- How we can work together to emerge stronger from this crisis.
Broadcast schedule
PM Lee will launch the series on June 7, 2020. Here is the schedule for the broadcasts:

All speeches will be broadcast at the following times on these TV channels on the respective dates.
The speeches will also be available on Gov.sg online platforms such as their website, Facebook page, YouTube channel and Twitter.
PM Lee’s and DPM Heng’s speeches will be published on their respective Facebook Pages.
