Blooming wildflowers and weeds have perked many people up during the Circuit Breaker period.

And clearly, humans are not the only ones who enjoy the presence of these wild plants.

Otters play hide and seek in wildflowers

Three playful otters were caught frolicking in the greens, according to a video shared by a member of the Nature Society (Singapore) Facebook group.

The untrimmed tall grasses and wildflowers have blocked their view.

As they jumped through the wildflowers, the otters had to stand upright to find one another and stay together.

The sight has amused a number of other nature lovers.

Stepping up maintenance of grass verges

It's probably hard to catch this sight again as the National Parks Board (NParks) will be progressively stepping up the frequency of the maintenance of grass verges, as Circuit Breaker measures are rolled back.

This is due to public health and safety reasons.

We are definitely not the only ones who are going to miss the wildflowers and weeds.
