SCDF rescues man sitting on 7th floor ledge of Block 70 Circuit Road

A safety life air pack was deployed as a precautionary measure.

A man was spotted sitting on the seventh floor ledge of Block 70 Circuit Road on Jun. 10, 2020.

In the video, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers can be seen rappelling down the HDB block.

A man was arrested in relation to the case

Responding to queries from Mothership, SCDF said that they received a call for assistance at about 8:20am on Jun. 10.

Upon arrival, a man was seen sitting on a ledge.

A safety life air pack was deployed as a precautionary measure.

SCDF also deployed nets and the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) rescuers rappelled from the unit above to rescue the person.

"A man was arrested by the police in relation to the case," added SCDF.
