People in Singapore can expect wet and humid weather for the first two weeks of June, 2020, according to the forecast by the Meteorological Service Singapore.
Maximum of 35°C
It is expected to be warm on most days with daily temperatures ranging between 25°C and 34°C.
Maximum temperatures of around 35°C can be expected on a few days.
Warm and humid conditions can also be expected on some nights, with temperatures of around 28°C.
Thundery showers in June
On most days, moderate to heavy thundery showers can be expected for short durations between the late morning and afternoon over parts of the island.
On two or three days, widespread thundery showers with gusty winds due to Sumatra squalls are expected between the predawn hours and morning.
Warm month of May
The month of May was warm, with the daily maximum temperature exceeding 34°C on most days.
The highest daily maximum temperature in May was 35.8°C, which was recorded at Admiralty on May 22.
At the Changi climate station, the mean monthly temperature was around 28.9°C, which was 0.6°C higher than the month's long-term average.
