The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 119 new cases of Covid-19 infection as of 12pm on Tuesday, June 23.

This is the lowest number of new cases reported in a day in June. It is also the lowest daily number since April 7, 2020.

This brings the total number of cases to 42,432.

The vast majority of the new cases, said the ministry, are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

Two new cases reported outside of dormitories are Work Pass holders. There is one new Permanent Resident case.

In the press release, MOH has also identified several locations as public places that confirmed Covid-19 cases had visited for more than 30 minutes during their infectious period.

On Tuesday (June 23), MOH updated the list with one new location:

  • Seoul Garden at Northpoint City

Here are the details, dates and times visited:

Those who had been identified as close contacts of confirmed cases would already have been notified by MOH.

As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit.

They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history.

MOH said that there is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been.

The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.
