A popular cat cafe in Johor Bahru is closing down after five years of operations.
Closed since March due to Covid-19
The cafe was forced to shut since March 18 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
They previously announced that they would close their cafe until further notice "in view of the lockdown announcement":
After almost three months of closure, the cat cafe took to their Facebook page to share that they will permanently close.They expressed their gratitude towards customers for their support and love for the cafe.
"Dear customers,
It is with the heaviest heart that @catscafejb is announcing our painful decision for permanent closure of our cafe business. It has been a wonderful five years filled with great amount of beautiful memories with our team, our fluffy kitties, and of course all of you — our amazing customers. We could not have done it without your infinite support and love for our cafe."

Re-homing cats for a fee
The cafe added that they would be re-homing the cats for a fee, and will be releasing more details on it soon.
Besides that, they will also be holding Instagram sales to sell off the items in the cafe.
