Here's some good news for fans of IKEA restaurants.

Restaurants reopening from June 29

The Scandinavian furniture megastore announced that it will reopen its restaurants from June 29, with safety measures in place.

Here are a few things to take note of:

• The restaurants will not operate its soft drinks and coffee machines/dispensers temporarily. Only bottled, canned and packet beverages will be available. This means that IKEA FAMILY members will not be able to enjoy member benefits of free coffee and tea during this period.
• The restaurants will not operate the condiment station temporarily. Chilli and ketchup packets will be given upon request.
• The restaurants will not be offering IKEA FAMILY food promotions temporarily.

Revised opening hours

On top of that, IKEA's breakfast menu will only be served at IKEA Alexandra from 9am to 11am.

The restaurants' operating hours have also been revised.

• IKEA Alexandra: 9am to 9pm with last order at 8:30pm (Sundays to Thursdays), 9am to 10:30pm with last order at 10pm (Fridays to Saturdays)
• IKEA Tampines: 10amam to 9pm with last order at 8:30pm (Sundays to Thursdays), 10am to 10:30pm with last order at 10pm (Fridays to Saturdays)
