Genting Highlands reopens with indoor theme park, selected casinos & hotels

After quite the hiatus, Genting Highlands has reopened its doors.

Here's what it looked like during the closure.

It has been closed since March.

Resorts World Genting will reopen with selected attractions, hotels, and dining outlets.

The Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park will be open. The frequency of sanitising rides has also increased.

The casinos SkyCasino, and Genting Club have also opened. However entry for the now will be limited to Genting Rewards members.

Public entry will resume "as soon as possible".

All guests are required to have their temperature checked upon entry.

All guests are also required to scan the QR code from the MySejahtera app upon entry and exit.

While massive crowds are probably still quite a while away, the first few entrants into the newly reopened Genting Resorts told Malay Mail.

“My kids haven’t been here before but the rest of us have, but we’ve never seen it this quiet. It’s really a nice feeling,” the father of two boys aged five and three said.

“With the kids here, we were able to get on almost all the rides they were allowed on and there’s no queue bro, that’s the best part.”
