Local carpentry firm Singapore Carpentry is giving away furniture to the needy under the Wishlist initiative.

According to a spokesperson for the company, the second-hand furniture and appliances come from their renovation works.

The initiative also aims to preserve the environment by reducing waste.

Some of the latest items to be given away are a Sharp White Two Door Refrigerator, Mitsubishi Air Conditioner, Long Wooden TV Console, Medium Table Lamp, and even the Teka Oven HI635.

How it works

  • Create a Wishlist account online by filling up an application form. A copy of your identity card is needed.
  • Login to choose the appliance or furniture you would like.
  • An email confirmation will be sent within seven working days.

If you would like to arrange for delivery, it will cost S$50. Otherwise you can opt for self-pick up at no cost.

Families can get more than one item from the list.

Only households with a combined income of under S$3,000, or under S$1,000 per capita, are eligible.

Contributing to the list

On the other hand, if you would like to add some furniture or appliances to Wishlist, you can email photos of the products to [email protected].
