Legendary singer Fei Yu Qing has become arguably more famous in the west than he has ever been before.

This is thanks to his song "Yi Jian Mei" skyrocketing to global popularity recently.

The irony of this is of course that Fei has been retired for quite a while.

But the incredible popularity of the song has even caught Fei's attention.

According to United Daily News, his manager said that Fei was pleasantly surprised at the newfound interest in his discography.

He told the manager that "Heaven has been very kind", he reflected on how it was relatively smooth sailing while he was in the profession, and even after he retired, his song still made waves after all these years.

The manager commented on how much emotions Fei had put in the song, and that is why it has moved so many people.

Despite the resurgence in popularity though, Fei will not be making a comeback anytime soon.
