Everything with Fries (EwF), a home-grown fast food restaurant selling burgers, fries and dessert, announced on June 9 that they will be making a comeback after "a long hiatus".

EwF's last day at their Bugis Junction outlet was on December 3, 2017.

Not much information was provided regarding its reopening, but one thing we can be sure of is that they'll be bringing back their "classics".

The announcements were made on both their Facebook and Instagram pages.

They said:

"Missed us? After a long hiatus, EwF is excited to come back on the scene with our classics! Get ready 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️ Coming soon... #ewfreturns #ewf #ewf_sg #everythingwithfries #foodsg #foodie"

They've also updated their Instagram bio to inform customers that they're coming back soon:

Happy customers responded to their announcement by expressing how much they missed the restaurant:

Bestsellers

Many expressed how much they missed one particular burger, the Har Jeong Kai burger, which was priced at S$8.90 (a la carte) and S$10.90 (set meal with drink and fries).

It's made up of prawn paste marinated chicken, honey mayonnaise, lettuce and tomatoes served with handmade burger buns.

Closure

EwF was opened by the people behind Awfully Chocolate.

There were a total of three outlets located at Holland Village, Orchard Central and Bugis Junction.

The restaurant promised fresh burgers made of buns, sauces and patties that were "prepared by hand and from scratch".

In 2015, the restaurant put up a poster in their Orchard Central (OC) store explaining that it had been told by the management to vacate its store to make room for an international retail brand.

Their last day of operation was December 31, 2015.

The poster read:

Dear friends and customers,

After having stuck it out at Orchard Central for more than five years, through the early years when this mall was dead and empty and saw the demise of many international fast food players, we are proud to say that today we find ourselves in a position where we have built a great Singapore brand with a loyal following and have outlasted other far more eminent, big brands.

Now that things are finally looking up for us, our landlord said it wants us to give up this space, EwF's first home, for an international retail brand that wants our space. Guess this is what SMEs suffer with their landlords all the time. Realities are harsh for small guys like us.

We have no choice in the matter.

So it is with much sadness that we tell you that our last day here is December 31, 2015. Five-and-a-half-years on. We leave with a heavy heart (not really missing the landlord but we'll certainly miss our fantastic customers.

So from January 1, 2016, please continue to support us at our only remaining EwF at Bugis Junction!

As a recognition of your wonderful loyalty and kind support – we're giving out 10% vouchers for use at EwF Bugis Junction from January 1, 2016.

It later closed its last outlet at Bugis Junction on Dec. 3, 2017.

We have reached out to EwF for more information regarding its comeback.
