Durian season is back again but with the current situation, it's better to have them delivered to your doorstep.

While there is no shortage of durian vendors, here are nine stalls that list and regularly update their prices on social media.

Do note that price and availability of durians vary on a day-to-day basis.

Here's a general guide for the different durian types and how they taste:

• D13: Sweet
• D24: neutral, not too bitter or sweet
• Mao Shan Wang: Combination of bitter and sweet
• Red Prawn: Slightly bitter with a sweet aftertaste
• Black Gold: Strong and bitter
• Golden Phoenix: Bittersweet
• Black Pearl: Bittersweet
• XO Durian: Strong and bitter

1) Fruitealle

Fruitealle offers durians that are packaged on the day of the delivery to ensure freshness.

Besides durians, they also sell a variety of fruits.

2) Kungfu Durian

Started by durian lovers, Kungfu Durian markets themself with "reasonable and transparent prices."

Their de-husked durians are charged at a fixed price based on 800g boxes.

Those unsatisfied with the durians delivered can WhatsApp them at 8118 6318 with photo evidence within two hours of delivery

Upon verification, they promise to replace the bad durians by the next day.

• Delivery fee of S$9.90 applies (for orders below S$78) for islandwide deliveries except for Jurong Island, Sentosa and Tuas
• You can request for durians to be delivered with husk if minimum quantity for delivery of durians (with husks) is 10kg. Additional charge of S$10 will be applied.
• Advanced orders of maximum three days in advance allowed

3) Ah Seng Durian

Ah Seng Durian brings in their durians from Malaysia.

4) Durian Kingdom SG

Durian Kingdom SG operates solely online.

They offer some lesser known durians such as Xiaofeng.

Do note that the weight includes the husk.

5) Sin Durian

Sin Durian is a neighbourhood durian and fruits stall located at Aljunied. They offer promotional packages that come with free delivery.

However, you can opt to order a la carte as well and pay a delivery fee.

Durian Empire is a store located at Punggol which offers both self-collection and delivery. They are currently offering a walk-in promotion at their stall.

Self-collection promotion: Three boxes for S$75 (U.P. S$84)

8) 227 Katong Durian

227 Katong Durian is currently located at a shophouse at East Coast Road, an upgrade from their makeshift stall back in 2008.

They're well known for their D13 durians from Johor and their Golden Phoenix durians that are sourced from East Malacca.

Prices vary so do check their Facebook page for the latest update.

Durians:

• Red Prawn, D1 and D13 (S$12/kg)
• Hulu (S$15/kg)
• Golden Phoenix (S$18/kg)
• Mao Shan Wang (S$22/kg)

Delivery:

• Minimum order of S$30 or 2kg per durian type, excluding delivery fee
• Last order for same day delivery is 7pm
• Earliest delivery time is 2pm
• S$15 for delivery within two hours
• S$12 for delivery within the day. Time to be specified in the notes section when ordering.
• S$10 for next day delivery and beyond. Date and time to be specified under notes section.

9) 99 Old Trees

99 Old Trees is a rather well-known durian store located near Farrer Park MRT.

Though they allow walk-in purchases, customers can only drop by at their store after 8:30pm or later and there is no guarantee that there will be durians available.

Priority is given to online customers.
