DC Super Heroes Cafe will be closing its Marina Bay Sands outlet for good, the company announced in a June 17 Facebook post.

This comes after five "wonderful and memorable" years of operations.

The cafe added that their tenancy had ended during the circuit-breaker period. They also apologised and expressed their gratitude to their customers for all their support.

The Facebook page for their Marina Bay Sands outlet will also be shut down at a later date.

The cafe is marketed as the one and only DC Comics Super Heroes Cafe offering a full dining dining experience. Some items on the menu include burgers, steak, waffles and ice cream.

Regular customers were sad to see it go.

Takashimaya branch transitioning to a new brand

On the other hand, the Takashimaya Cafe branch will reopen on June 19 — when Phase 2 starts.

However, it will be "transitioning to a new brand" in the very near future, according to the cafe.

No additional information was provided.

Merchandise available at Takashimaya branch

The cafe's last retail concept store at Orchard Gateway had also officially closed during the circuit breaker period.

However, some merchandise will still be available for sale at the Takashimaya Cafe branch.
