Here's some good news for bargain hunters.

On June 17, Daiso Singapore announced that it will resume operations for all of its Daiso and Threeppy outlets from 10am on June 19.

It also reminded shoppers to follow safe distancing measures while in stores and to wear a mask.

Closed since April 7

All Daiso and Threepy outlets were closed since April 7, when the circuit breaker measures kicked in.

Earlier in April, it shared that five outlets -- IMM, Waterway Point, Plaza Singapura, Square 2, and Tiong Bahru Plaza -- would continue to open during the circuit breaker period.

Hours later, however, Daiso's management retracted its notice and continued to shut its outlets until further notice.

Retail outlets and more allowed to operate in Phase 2

Apart from Daiso, several other retail outlets are allowed to operate in Phase 2.

You can find the full list of businesses that are allowed to operate here.

In Phase 2, people are also allowed to dine in at F&B outlets as well as hawker centres.

Public facilities will also open.

This includes playgrounds, beaches, lawns and fields, stadiums, swimming complexes, sports halls, hard courts, gyms, fitness studios, bowling centres and function rooms.
