Since Phase 2 started, most retail and dining outlets in Singapore have resumed operations.

This, of course, attracted some big crowds at certain shops and restaurants.

Daiso outlets crowded

Some of the crowded places include several Daiso outlets.

On the first day of Daiso's reopening, several outlets had snaking queues.

This includes Sembawang Shopping Centre, Chinatown Point and Tiong Bahru Plaza.

Live crowd update

If you're wondering when's a good time to visit, Daiso Japanese discount store now has a crowd level update on its site.

The site provides live crowd level updates on all 22 of its Daiso and Threeppy stores.

The website uses a colour system to indicate how crowded the outlets are:

  • Green: Not crowded
  • Yellow: Some crowds
  • Orange: Crowded
  • Red: Max

It appears that the live update refreshes every 30 minutes or so.

Here are some outlets that you may want to avoid for the time being:

And here are some outlets with less of a crowd.
