The owners don't want to risk taking their cats with them because their living arrangements are uncertain at this moment.

A couple in Singapore is looking for people to take in their two cats, Buckley and Vidal.

One Libby Freeman posted the following on Facebook page Adopt Dogs and Cats In Singapore on June 5:

According to the post, the couple has to leave Singapore to return to the UK next month.

The couple does not have any fixed accommodation at the moment in the UK and so they are trying to rehome their cats here in Singapore.

"We also think it's kinder for them to not have to endure the long journey to the UK if they can be loved here," said Freeman.

She added in a comment that she has to return to the UK on June 11 while her boyfriend has to go next month.

"We don't have anywhere to live in the UK, no jobs, no money and we don't know when we can rent somewhere in the UK, it could be months."

Being unable to plan for their future, Freeman said that she didn't want to make the cats endure a long trip back to the UK only to be sent to a shelter.

Besides, Freeman added that because of the rushed nature of her return to the UK, there is not enough time to process the blood work needed to transport her cats over.

The cats are two years old, neutered, and fully litter trained. The couple will also provide the litter trays and toys for free.

Both are "very very affectionate" and enjoy cuddles and attention. Here are some photos of the two:
