On Jun. 10, a man was spotted sitting on the seventh floor ledge of Block 70 Circuit Road.

SCDF rescued man sitting on ledge

In a video that was posted on Facebook, a few Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers can be seen rappelling down the HDB block.

According to SCDF, a safety life air pack was deployed as a precautionary measure.

SCDF also deployed nets and the Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (DART) rescuers rappelled from the unit above to rescue the man on the ledge.

Two men arrested for suspected drug-related offences

Responding to Mothership's queries, the police said that they received a call for assistance at about 8:20am on Jun. 10.

Two men, aged 44 and 53, were arrested for suspected drug-related offences.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police added that they are also looking into possible breaches of safe distancing measures under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations by both men.
