BreadTalk will be opening a concept store in Wheelock Place on Orchard Road come mid-August, the company has announced.

The store, which was originally set to open in June, had to delay its launch date due to post-circuit breaker restrictions.

A spokesperson for the brand told Mothership that it will be a "new retail experience" with added product categories.

At the moment, however, they are unable to reveal much, as there are still "many moving parts".

Close to 60 new products

As part of BreadTalk's 20th anniversary, the bakery will launch close to 60 new products.

The first wave of new products is already available both online and in stores.

• Tomato Kale (S$2.70)
• Mala Twist (S$4.20 for a pack of six)

• Soo Cheezy (S$2.20)
• Hazel Cacao (S$2.20)

Two new cakes on the shelves as well:

• Granite (Sesame) (S$27.60 for four inch, S$37.60 for a six inch)
• Brown Sugar Prune (S$24.60 for four inch, S$34.60 for six inch)

One person who tried the new Hazel Cacao bread said that its crunchy filling made it stand out.

Another likened it to Ferrero Rocher.

However, the same reviewer expected more a cheese pull, or at least more cheese, from Soo Cheezy.

The next wave of new products will be released closer to the store's opening date.

Official e-store

BreadTalk has also launched an official e-store where you can place orders and have their buns and cakes delivered to your door.

• Free delivery for orders over S$30.
• Order by 10pm if you wish to have it delivered by the next day.

Alternatively, you can have them delivered through their food delivery partners, GrabFood, Deliveroo and foodpanda.
