Sengkang General Hospital has put up a Facebook post over the alleged harassment of one its nurses by a neighbour.
In a Facebook post put up on May 18, the hospital called for medical personnel to be treated with respect and that they also deserved to have a safe environment both at work and at home.
It further added that it was aware of a video circulating online of the neighbour's behaviour and reiterated that any physical or verbal abuse of its staff will be reported to the police.
What was the video about?
A series of videos were posted on the aforementioned nurse's account showing several videos of his neighbours.
In one video, the neighbour can be heard shouting "Virus!" repeatedly, while another video shows the neighbour spraying what appears to be some kind of solution at the doorway.
A young girl, who appears to be the Instagram user's daughter can also be seen raising her hands to cover face when returning home in a third video.
Here's a video compilation of the Instagram post put up by The Online Citizen.
Neighbour shouted vulgarities
The neighbour had also apparently shouted vulgarities such as "obai, kanina, virus, dirty family and virus family".
The nurse's wife also uploaded another video showing the neighbour shouting Hokkien vulgarities and stating that it was within her own right to "spray" her unit.
Police report made after Dettol "came in contact" with daughter's face
According to the nurse, a police report was eventually made when their neighbour sprayed Dettol which "came in contact" with their daughter's face.
@jibby4g added that the police then advised him to lodge a magistrate report as they were unable to take action without a court order.
However, he said that he was still considering the matter given his job and the fact that they are still neighbours.
