The Ministry of Defense (MINDEF) has issued a statement regarding the photos of two men dressed in Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) uniforms who appeared to be engaging in explicit acts.

Police report has been filed

In response to Mothership's query, MINDEF said in a statement on Sunday (May 17) that the inappropriate acts involving the SAF uniform are disrespectful to servicemen and servicewomen, and that any serviceman who uses any part of the uniform in an unauthorised way may be charged in court.

The statement also noted that a police report has been filed.

Here is the full statement by MINDEF:

Any serviceman who makes unauthorised use of any part of our uniforms may be charged in court.

A police report has been filed. We also note that the post has been deleted by Twitter as it was in violation of Twitter’s community standards."
