Man allegedly murdered at Punggol Field, police investigating

A 38-year-old man died after he was found injured along Punggol Field.

The Singapore police have launched a murder investigation.

The police said on Monday, May 11 that they received a call for assistance along Punggol Field at about 11pm on Sunday.

The man was taken to Sengkang General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The road where the incident took place was cordoned off on Monday morning.

Vehicles going in that direction were made to turn back.

Pictures posted online showed police in the area on Sunday night.

Another photo emerged purportedly showing Gurkha personnel combing the grassy area.

One witness said he saw "blood everywhere" near a bus stop when he went to check on someone's cry for help.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
