Earlier today (May 19), the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed an additional 451 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore.

1 case is a Singaporean Citizen. 450 are Work Permit holders residing in dormitories.

The total number of confirmed cases in Singapore now stands at 28,794.

Closed clusters

On May 19, MOH also announced that two existing clusters have been closed.

There have been no more cases linked to NCS Hub (5 Ang Mo Kio Street 62) and CitiWall (34 Kaki Bukit Crescent) for the past two incubation periods (i.e. 28 days).

The clusters have thus now been closed.

NCS, a subsidiary of the Singtel Group, confirmed that three employees based in NCS Hub, Block C tested positive for Covid-19 between April 24 and 27.

It was previously reported that the three employees worked on level 5 (C5) and were involved in back-office IT operations, supporting essential services of the company's clients.

The Citiwall Pte Ltd cluster had six cases.

  • Eight of the newly confirmed cases are linked to seven previous cases to form a new cluster at 2 Sungei Kadut Street 4.
  • Four of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to form a new cluster at 13 Kaki Bukit Road 4.
