The McSpicy is arguably the best burger McDonald's has to offer, based on how obsessed Singaporeans are over the spicy and juicy chicken patty.

And thanks to the hype surrounding the McSpicy, it actually intrigued a 91-year-old man to try the burger himself.

On May 15, Emerson Gideon Ng shared a video of his grandfather trying the McSpicy for the very first time on Facebook group Subtle Asian Traits.

The video has since gained more than 4,000 reactions and 1,000 comments on the page.

91-year-old tries McSpicy for first time

Speaking to Mothership, Ng told us that his grandfather heard about McSpicy when there was "a lot of hype" over McDonald's when it was closed temporarily over the circuit breaker period.

"He also saw this McSpicy advertisement and said 'Eh, that looks good. Let's try it."

Being the dutiful grandson, Ng bought a McSpicy on May 14, just a few days after McDonald's resumed operations.

Ng's grandfather ate the burger with a fork and a spoon so it wouldn't dirty his hands. Very apt in the times we are in.

And here's his first impression:

Not a big fan

And after giving it a second chance (this time with a layer of garlic chilli sauce), it seems like he's still not much of a fan.

Oh, well.

While the elderly man couldn't finish the burger, Ng told us that his younger brother gladly finished the burger on their grandfather's behalf.

Perhaps the Filet-O-Fish next?
