Since Singapore's McDonald's opened its doors again for takeaway and delivery on May 11, die-hard fans have returned to the outlets to fix their cravings after being deprived of the fare for more than three weeks.
Queues started forming from the day of the restaurants' reopening.
"Socially irresponsible"
A McDonald's fan, who decided to get his fix along with other McDonald's junkies, posted a few photos of the queue as Instragram Stories while he was waiting in line.
He slapped some captions onto the photos he posted as well.
For instance, he labelled some customers placing their orders at the counter and the Self-Ordering Kiosk as "socially irresponsible".
The IG stories were widely shared on social media, with a Facebook post sharing the screenshots racking up more than 4,800 shares in just 14 hours.
Different opinions
Alas, the same captions can be read in more than one way.
Some perceived the captions as being disparaging of others when the IG user was doing the exact same thing.
Several commenters, however, pointed out that the person who posted the IG stories was likely just joking and being sarcastic.
Well, there's always more than one way to read a message.
