Former Workers' Party chief Low Thia Kiang discharged from hospital after 3 weeks

Former Workers' Party Secretary-General Low Thia Kiang has been discharged from hospital, the party announced on May 21.

Low was admitted into the intensive care unit after a fall at home on April 30.

After being in the ICU for five days, he was then transferred to the general ward on May 4.

He has now been discharged from Khoo Teck Puat General Hospital on May 21 but he will be on hospitalisation leave.

In the meanwhile, he will be recuperating at home and undergoing rehabilitation.

He also thanked the hospital staff for their dedication and professionalism during his stay.
