Former Workers' Party chief Low Thia Khiang in ICU after fall at home

The Workers' Party (WP) revealed today, May 3, that Low Thia Khiang is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after a fall at home on Thursday (Apr. 30).

Low is the former Secretary-General for Workers’ Party and an Aljunied GRC MP.

Low suffered a head injury from his fall at home

Low fell at home on Apr. 30 and suffered a head injury.

He is currently conscious and is being monitored in ICU.

The WP media team shared that while Low is absent from work, the WP's Aljunied GRC MPs will cover his duties in his constituency, with the help of former Non-constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) Gerald Giam.

The statement also added that Low’s family has requested for privacy so that he can focus on his recovery.
