Everyone's been staying at home for too long.

It all began with a tweet from nobody in particular, talking about no one in particular.

Until the arrow landed.

Local YouTuber Jianhan JianHao Tan then responded directly to these tweets.

Along with a series of other tweets about his success on the platform.

He also asked viewers to look at his content in entirely before judging it, and at the same time, "do something more creative in their life (sic)".

Tan similarly responded on his Instagram account.

The conflict was first spotted by Facebook page Kiasu Memes For Singaporean Teens (KMFST), who posted snippets of the drama.

KMFST featured an Instagram user who did not appear to be Tan's fan.

Despite the naysayers, however, a number of people have also spoken up for Tan.
