Some 504 individuals were discharged from hospitals and community isolation facilities on Monday, May 11, reported Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) — the highest number of Covid-19 patients recovered and discharged in a single day so far.

Total of 3,225 patients discharged

Of the 504, 18 were discharged from hospitals, while the rest were discharged from community isolation facilities.

In all, 3,225 in Singapore have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There are currently 1,093 confirmed cases who are still hospitalised.

Of these, the MOH said most are stable or improving, although 24 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

A further 19,448 patients have been isolated and are being cared for at community facilities — these have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but continue to test positive for Covid-19.

21 patients have passed away from complications due to Covid-19 infection so far.

  • May 10: 425 patients discharged
