Hong Kong actress Fala Chen may take on a role in the Marvel film 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings'.
The movie, which was first announced in July 2019, stars Chinese-Canadian actor Simu Liu as the protagonist, Shang-Chi.
Hong Kong actor Tony Leung, Asian-American actress Awkwafina and Malaysian actor Ronnie Chieng have also been casted in the film.

Production for the movie began in February this year, but was eventually halted in March due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Chen might star as MI-6 agent Leiko Wu
According to a fan account, 38-year-old Chen might star as Leiko Wu, the MI-6 agent who eventually becomes Shang-Chi's ally against Leung, who plays 'The Mandarin'.
This speculation comes after Chen was found to be following Liu, film director Destin Daniel Cretton, and the official Marvel account on Instagram.
Both Cretton and Liu have also followed Chen back in return.
Fans have also suspected that Liu was in one of Chen's Instagram posts from January, where she and a group of people were making dumplings.
Liu is speculated to be the man in the black shirt at the top left hand corner according to the fan account:

Meanwhile, Chen has spoken openly of "unwinding after a 13 hour work day" on February 12, which some believe could be related to her filming for 'Shang-Chi':

'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' is slated to be released in the United States on May 7, 2021.
