788 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore, bringing total to 20,198

The Ministry of Health has preliminarily confirmed 788 new cases of Covid-19 as of 12pm on May 6.

This brings the total number of reported cases in Singapore to 20,198.

11 of the new cases reported today are Singaporeans or Permanent residents.

The majority of the cases are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

According to MOH, details of the cases are still being worked on, and further updates will be shared in a separate press release later today.

May 1: 932

May 2: 447

May 3: 657

May 4: 573

May 5: 632

May 6: 788
