Roll back measures
Just a day ago (May 12), Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said at a press conference that the government is hoping to "roll back more measures" on June 1, 2020 "if all goes well".
So far, the circuit breaker measures "have shown promise in reducing Covid-19 infections locally in the community," he said.
As of May 12, some circuit breaker measures have been progressively lifted, like the resumption of operations for hairdressers and traditional Chinese medicine halls, for example.
However, Gan emphasised that Singapore must not be "lulled into complacency or let our guard down" as circuit breaker measures are gradually relaxed.
