A total of 1,164 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities in Singapore on May 14, 2020.
This figure is the highest number ever so far, with each day's new figure beating the previous day's record over the last four days.
Here's a look at the discharged numbers for the past six days:
- May 8: 328 discharged
- May 9: 256 discharged
- May 10: 425 discharged
- May 11: 504 discharged
- May 12: 626 discharged
- May 13: 958 discharged
Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Health (MOH) also confirmed 752 new cases of the virus, two of which are Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents.
5,973 recovered, 20,104 active cases
In all, 5,973 have fully recovered from the infection, and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.
There are currently 1,072 confirmed cases who are still in hospital.
Of these, most are stable or improving.
A total of 20 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
Another 19,032 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
This makes it a total of 20,104 active cases.
So far, 21 have passed away from complications due to Covid-19 infection.
