Adidas has since reached out to some of the customers to assist them and apologise for the delay on Facebook.

Overwhelmed by the amount of orders

On their website, Adidas Singapore stated that customers should "expect delays" due to the "current situation and an overwhelming amount of orders".

To compensate for late delivery, Adidas Singapore will provide free delivery for all orders.

Under the "help" section of their website, Adidas Singapore also specified that there was "overwhelming support" for a recent campaign and movement restrictions.

The recent campaign most likely refers to one which was held from Apr. 15, where Adidas Singapore said that there was a 30 per cent discount sitewide and 50 per cent discount on items from their outlet store.

In response to Mothership.sg's queries on May 8, Petr Stastny, Country Manager of Adidas Singapore said that they were "heartened" by the "overwhelming support", and apologised for the delays in orders.

Stastny assured consumers that Adidas is implementing solutions such as increasing warehouse resources, and will provide customers with an updated time frame on when they will receive their orders.
