The United States Airforce Academy class of 2020 had their graduation on April 18, 2020.
Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, gave a commencement address for the event.
Among the graduates was one Singaporean graduate, Lieutenant Christabel Chai.
Chai, who was honoured as a distinguished graduate, unfurled a Singaporean flag at the ceremony.

According to a post by the Singapore Embassy in Washington, "the US Air Force Academy accepts a few international students as well. LTA Chai is with the Republic of Singapore Air Force."
Another post by the U.S. Embassy in Singapore congratulated Chai for being the first woman from Southeast Asia and from the Singapore Armed Forces selected for this program.
