This is out of line.

People in Singapore are definitely more uptight about being socially responsible, and keeping up with personal hygiene amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

A widely circulated photo on April 5 has irritated those who have seen it due to its unhygienic implications.

Uses flying kick to press button at traffic junction

The photo shows a woman making the effort to lift her leg up at a 90 degree angle just to press the button at the traffic junction along Tanah Merah Kechil Link.

Perhaps this was done to avoid any public touchpoint, so as to eliminate any chance of contracting the infectious coronavirus.

Here's the photo:

Public outrage

The photo was allegedly uploaded by the woman onto her Facebook on March 25 afternoon initially.

However, the post has since been taken down.

While the post has mostly garnered positive reactions such as "likes" and "haha" among her followers, the general public certainly did not appreciate such behaviour.

Some people who saw the photo described the woman as being "inconsiderate" and "selfish".
